From the Wards of Lahore to the Operating Theatres of the World

In Lahore, I learned early that medicine is not merely a profession it is a responsibility. I grew up in a family that valued service and sacrifice, and from the earliest days of my training at King Edward Medical University, I knew that the ears, nose, and throat were where I wanted to dedicate my life. The complexity of these structures, their connection to communication, breathing, sleep, and quality of life these things fascinated me deeply and have never stopped doing so.

Then came the opportunity to pass that belief to the next generation. My son, Dr Usama Cheema, chose ENT surgery and working alongside him has been among the greatest privileges of my career. He brings with him the rigour of modern training and a genuine passion for his patients that reminds me every day of why I entered medicine. Together, we have built CENT as a place where no patient leaves without clarity, without care, and without hope.

That commitment led us to establish CENT Center of ENT a clinic designed not just to treat symptoms but to understand the whole person behind them. We combine advanced diagnostic technology with personalised surgical expertise, ensuring that every patient whether a child with recurrent ear infections or an adult facing complex head and neck surgery receives care that is thorough, compassionate, and effective.
